Freedom and happiness: for Greenhouse, these are the most important things!
Anneleen is our personal Hospitality Assistant and full-time Happiness Bringer. Yes, you’re reading that right. We have appointed “special forces” in every Greenhouse Hub to ensure that everyone in our Greenhouse offices is happy and free. We’ll let Anneleen herself tell us what it is like to be a happiness bringer at Greenhouse…
HI, ANNELEEN! WHAT A COOL JOB DESCRIPTION YOU HAVE…
(Laughs). Thanks! I just have a cool job! Greenhouse is a really super place to work with amazingly great people.
SUPPOSE: I WANT TO WORK IN A GREENHOUSE OFFICE. WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
You can work at 3 levels with us: as a co-worker, in a serviced office or as a permanent tenant in your own office. As a co-worker, you do not have your own office, but you can sit where (and when) you want. We always create different workstations that allow you to alternate throughout the day: from high tables to seats and benches with cushions. All our furniture is high-quality, ergonomic or otherwise, and equipped with a power socket! Yes, you don’t even have to get out of your chair to charge your smartphone…
Those who want a serviced office get their own office in our offices. This is for an entire year, but can of course always be extended. You don’t have any work furnishing or moving furniture. You also don’t have to worry about cleaning! We simply do that for you. It’s super convenient.
And finally you can still opt for a permanent office. Completely yours. With its own interior design, taste and choice.
THAT’S CRYSTAL CLEAR! WHAT KIND OF THINGS DO YOU DO FOR THE TENANTS OR CO-WORKERS?
That’s simple: everything to ease the work or life of the Greenhouse visitors. Together with my colleague, Tess, you will find me right at the reception of Greenhouse Diegem, where we do everything we can to make (or keep) everyone happy. We greet customers, handle general communication with co-workers or tenants, arrange catering (after all, a person has to eat), reserve meeting rooms or just have a quick chat to gauge the satisfaction of the co-workers. Actually just anything to make your work easier.
WOW, SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT SERVICE!
It really is, but there’s more! For example there is also an ironing service where you can just drop off your ironing and pick it up after your working day. This is our little contribution to your ideal work-life balance because let’s face it… who likes ironing? (laughs).
There is also an electric car available for anyone who might need to use it. It’s above all convenient for people who come by public transport and have to go to see a customer later. We also often get compliments about our parcel service. People can just leave their parcels in the compartments designed for the purpose. We then take care of their delivery. We have linked an extra service to this: smartphone repair! If your smartphone’s screen is cracked, you can simply have it repaired! How convenient is that?
I CAN ALREADY HEAR IT. YOU’RE NOT INTENDING TO QUIT ANY TIME SOON.
Nope, I’m just going to stay where I am! (laughs). It was coincidence that brought the job as Happiness Bringer down my path, but I haven’t regretted it for a single moment yet. Here there is an open, warm and friendly atmosphere. My second home! I know the tenants by name here and the little chats we have in the corridors are fantastic. Everybody has a great deal of respect for each other. We also regularly hold unforgettable team building sessions with our Greenhouse and Intervest colleagues. These can range from going to the Sinksenfoor funfair together to after-work drinks and even a weekend trip.
